BulletedList Control tutorials

  • The BulletedList control creates an unordered or ordered (numbered) list of items, which render as HTML ul or ol elements, respectively.



The syntax of BulletedList is:

<asp:BulletedList ID="BulletedList1" runat="server"> </asp:BulletedList>

  • The following table shows the properties of BulletedList.





Specifies the path to an image to display for each bullet in a BulletedList control


Specifies the bullet style for the BulletedList control


Specifies the display mode of the list content in the BulletedList Control


Specify the start number of list items in an ordered list


Specify the Value property of the selected ListItem object in the BulletedList control.


Specifies the target window or frame in which to display the Web page content that is linked to when a hyperlink in a BulletedList control is clicked.


Features of the BulletedList Control

  • BulletedList have the following features

    1. Customize the appearance of the bullets and numbers.

    2. Provide logic to perform application-specific tasks when a user clicks an item.

    3. Specify how each item in the list is rendered, such as a hyperlink, static text, or as a link button.
