<OL> </OL> Ordered List tag tutorials

  • This is a paired tag. It requires opening and closing tags.

  • This stands for Ordered List.

  • This element allows you to display items with Numbers. It is used to display list items, which are separated by marked Numbered and space. Making it convenient to refer.

  • Each list items to represent must be specified with <LI> tag. <LI> tag is optionally paired tag. So even if </LI> is not given, it works.

  • START = Starting Point: This attribute of <OL> tag element helps to specify starting Numbers or Alphabets symbols.

  • If it is not given then it begins with 1st number. Refer the following table to generate following results.

  • <OL> Nested: Sometimes necessities may arise to display nested Numbered list.
