STRCOMP( ) VBScript Function tutorials

  • This function returns a value indicating the result of a string comparison. It

 

Syntax

StrComp(String1, String2, Compare)

 

String1 and String2 are any valid string expression

 

  • Compare - This is optional. If omitted a binary comparison is performed. We have to specify numeric value 0 or 1 indicating type of comparison to perform.

  • indicate perform a Binary comparison

  • indicate perform a Textual Comparison

  • StrComp returns following value
