  • Microsoft has completely redesign operating system to Metro-style lay-out. Microsoft has even re-designed their logo to tile-based new logo. Windows 8 is the biggest change in history of Microsoft after Windows 95. It contains more than 300 new features. Some of the important features are.

  • Start screen. The Start screen is tile-based, and configurable. You can resize tiles size. Tiles can display live information and with right hardware it is s touch-friendly. Clicking on tiles can open the program.

  • Desktop has changed into an App. By clicking on Desktop App you will switch to good old desktop.

  • Windows Store - this concept allows developers to offer their apps for free or sell them. If they decide to sell, Microsoft will take 30% and if your

  • App makes more than 25,000 $, than Microsoft will reduce its share to 20%.

  • Cloud integration. Windows 8 provides increased integration with cloud-based services and information.

  • Trusted Boot. Some malware programs, somehow manages to target boot process and insert malware files. Windows 8 Trusted Boot feature protect the integrity of boot process, its kernel, system file and boot drivers. In the event of any such tampered case, it will automatically detect and repair the system.
